James Rogers, a ranch manager and consultant, joined me to discuss the truth under regenerative agriculture. We talk about our understanding of God’s hand in designing a good world that works well when it is managed in a way that cooperates with the resources He provides.

Thank you so much for the latest show # 185 with James Rogers!
And thank you for completing the circuit and taking the conversation to the point of Creation, the Fall, and Redemption in Christ! Being a good steward of the land, and His creation is a huge part of the role that the Lord has given us on this earth. At the forefront of this path are the Regenerative aggies! And Hats off to them! If I was a part of that conversation today, discussing some of the undertow of what’s happening in some circles of Regenerative Agriculture I might have brought in the word Idolatry. Which sounds like a harsh word, but Idolatry is ultimately, putting something (anything) above the Triune God. And you guys talked about the heart of it. The argument could be made that Idolatry is the root of all sin. We are all guilty of idolatry of course, as we all put, and allow other things in Christ’s place in our lives continuously. Thank God for His Mercy and forgiveness. The Regenerative Ag sector definitely has un almost unseen, unfelt, undertow of this placing the earth in the place of Lordship, and Savior, to be sure. But I THANK GOD that you and your guest, so perfectly put things in their place! I’m happy that you, and others like you are not so easily duped (I’ll say) to allow any would be imposters in Christ’s place of Honor and Lordship. All Glory truly is His, and belongs with Him, for his astounding creation!
So Thank you for succinctly covering that towards the end of the show, Very well said! Thank you SO MUCH for producing and posting this show # 185!
I loved the very well placed, Scripture references here on the show!
To God be the Glory! Amen!
Lifelong learning quote from Scripture:
“One thing have I asked of the LORD, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to inquire in his temple. ” – Psalm 27:4
To know that we will never stop learning, even in Eternity, ‘inquiring’ in His house… just boggles the mind!
“Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands
Robed in the blooming garb of spring
Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer
Who makes the woeful heart to sing
Fairest Lord Jesus, ruler of all nature
O thou of God and man the Son
Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor
Thou, my soul’s glory, joy, and crown”
Thanks, Jake! As Calvin said the human heart is a factory of idols. We are always inventing new ways to worship creation, or maybe more accurately repackaging the original sin of worshiping the creation rather than the creator who is blessed forever, amen.
