Hello. I’m Peter Allison and I’m a beef farmer in New Zealand. I loved the podcast for a lot of reasons mainly that the media take on red meats has been flawed since the chicken and pork industries in the USA marketed that white meat good red meat bad. We know dietary cholesterol has nothing to do with human blood cholesterol.
We finish our cattle on pasture and we know it has reasonable levels of Omega 3 fatty acids. Also what the industrialised world talk about regenerative agriculture we have been forced to do that anyway. However we are blessed with good soils and climate.
This podcast was AWESOME. Our family has a cow-calf operation in NE Nevada and we are mostly carnivore. Would love to be part of helping get the funding for the health studies.
I hate to hear that Will Harris was negative about Regenerative Agriculture. Have toured and stayed at White Oak Pastures. Amazing operation. I hope they keep their positive direction because what they are doing is important. The RA movement is critical to dispel the thinking that raising cattle is bad for the environment. It also raises the importance of grasslands and biodiversity for our environment. And again drives a nail into the processed food industry. That is another fight that should continue and attract funding.
Beef is the ultimate in nutrition for humans AND its production preserves our land. We are firm believers and support all who contribute to promoting these ideas 🙂
