John Moody of Rogue Food and other endeavors joined me to discuss the reasons we should fight the mandatory implementation of RFID. We also discuss his previous experiences of resisting tyranny and the methods that he has seen be effective in pushing back against government overreach. We also discuss the upcoming Rogue Food Conference in Texas where John Moody will be joined by Joel Salatin and others to discuss specifically the issue of fighting mandatory RFID.

🙂 excellent 🙂 Worth the wait 🙂 Thanks for following through on this interview. The WAPF interview was shorter. I was glad for a longer interview and learned more about John Moody.
I just realized that some of my favorite books are by the author Ralph Moody ( I highly recommended them to you last year. 🙂 ) I wonder if John is related to him somehow. Ralph wrote lots of books – some fiction, some nonfiction and some autobiographical. The only ones I’ve read are 8 autobiographical books beginning with Little Britches. (Some caution and possibly editing recommended depending on the age of the listening children.)
Anyway, thanks very much for this interview. I hope to see “Come and tag it” signs popping up all over the place. μόλων λαβέ
Molon labe! I love it. Thanks for the tip. I’ve been a long time John Moody appreciator, but had never thought he should be a guest. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation.
With regards to the issue of submitting to authority and Romans 13, I thought of a book I read several years ago, written by my most respected Bible teacher and a student of international and biblical law. The book is entitled Law Without Authority or Limits: Kelsen’s Dilemma by Daniel Gruber. I highly recommend it. Unfortunately, my copy disappeared after I loaned it to a friend who passed away almost 3 years ago. After pestering his son for a couple years, the case was closed tonight when he replied that they had finally gone through all his father’s things last month and were unable to locate my book. 🙁 Anyway, it is worth reading, especially for people who like a challenge and a brain twister. Trying to understand the “logic” of legal philosophers that don’t accept God’s standards is like doing mental gymnastics.
One thing Dan says (in person, but possibly in the book too) is that just because someone claims authority over you, doesn’t mean their claim is valid. God has set up authorities in certain spheres, but if they overstep their limits, people are not obligated to submit to them. An example he gave was that a wife is to submit to her husband, but that doesn’t mean she has to submit if he tells her to rob a bank.
Good stuff. If anyone runs across a clear contact-covered copy of the book Law Without Authority or Limits: Kelsen’s Dilemma, please let me know. It’s mine.
Very Good. Sounds a lot like Kuyperian Sphere Sovereignty.
