It’s easy to focus on the various pieces of our marketing strategy to the point that we forget to actually sell the products we are marketing. Karoline Bohannan, of the KRose Company, joined me to discuss the things to pay attention to as we seek to get the word out about our ranch and rural business products. This episode might focus on bulls and bull sales but the principles apply to all rural businesses.

I wouldn’t worry about editing things out (other than inappropriate language/words). It’s a conversation and we hear it as it happened. From editing some rough music recordings, I know what a pain it can be to edit things to make it smooth so you can’t tell something was taken out. It’s time-consuming and a real hassle. Maybe people have easier ways of doing it, but it doesn’t seem worth it for your podcasts. I’m listening as I clean or drive or do dishes, etc. It’s not like I need it to “hurry up.” 😉
I appreciate that. Hearing from listeners is the best way to understand the best course of action. This is super valuable!
