In this episode I talk about the greatest asset we have to pass on. SPOILER ALERT: it’s not land, money, or genetics. I also chat about the lessons, some more painful than others, in my immediate families first season of making our own management decisions.

Really enjoy your podcast and you sharing your failures. I am trying to get into custom grazing slowly in the next couple years and your sharing of equipment preferences and failures is really helpful for me. I can’t wait for the Dylan Biggs episode, I have a border collie I’d love to get to be my helping hand whenever I get cattle on the land as well (he may be stuck in the role as pet now though). Anyways, thank you for the content and for sharing. None of your mistakes make you stupid either, you don’t know what you don’t know until you know. God bless brother!
Thanks, Braden! I appreciate the kind words and your reaching out. I am painfully aware of what I don’t know and if I can save someone else the trouble of making those mistakes it reduces the pain some. Let me know if there is some way I can serve you with an episode of the podcast, or a question you have for Dylan.
I’d love to know where to go to find resources on how to get started with the process of training a stock dog and what a person can do on their own vs what you need to seek out a professional trainer for.
