Good Monday morning to all you critter and land loving folks. My mom found some of my old school papers this last week, and as it turns out I have been writing about nothing but cows since I was eight. One of my stories was about our beloved bottle calf Dolly. And how she was a twin, and having to sell her. Grandpa probably did his best to explain to his young audience, but in the end it was because she would never calve. She was a freemartin. I have taken the easy out this week, as our household has been plagued by the flu bug, and linked an article below. With calving season in full swing all around us, having twins is more than it may appear to outsiders. An interesting read for your Monday morning. Blessings to you, yours, and your operation.
