Good Monday morning to all you critter and land loving folks. Pay day finally trickled down at the Conry ranch. I had posted a few weeks back that our summer grazers left, and it was nice doing business with family for us. My hope is that we pass the joy of doing business with family down to the last generation in the business deal. Those on our operation that are currently fifteen and under, our kids, were loaded up for town and received new bikes as their pay for helping this past grazing season. They all pitch in to help move hot wire, check water, or chase a stray here or there on horseback. We want to help instill responsibility and hopefully some enjoyment out of this lifestyle. I know there are days when it seems like more work than play, but as they rode off into the sunset, I think they thought work had paid off rather sweet for them.
Blessings to you, yours, and your operation.

That is great! They can enjoy now in late summer and beyond. What a excellent way to have all the family involved in the operation. God Bless
